Astoria, Oregon Bicentennial Celebration Kicks-In To Full Gear Through Sunday With The Astoria Regatta
Sounds like a good weekend to avoid Astoria altogether. And I agree, Im sick to death of correcting all these stupid newcomers about "American" being left out of "oldest settlement".
Well, those $40.00 bronze commemorative coins and $80.00 coin-knives ought to have great collector value then because they got them all wrong too but hey, there's always $300,000 Reba on Sunday to make us all forget about it.
200 years and they still can't get their history right.
