A grassroots movement (often referenced in the context of a political movement) is one driven by the constituents of a community. GRP does not necessarily condone or support the issues presented here. "We demand that big business give the people a square deal; in return we must insist that when anyone engaged in big business honestly endeavors to do right he shall himself be given a square deal." A Clatsop County Board Of Commissioners Meeting To Honor Richard Lee?
Wasn't he recently recalled for his failure in leadership and acute loss of confidence by his constituents in District 3 by a 2 to 1 margin?
And now this Commission wishes to honor him?
For what, if I may be so naive to ask?

Will we ever get this bastard Lee behind us?
I live in his neighborhood in District 3 and still would not put my real name on this post for any reason.

Maybe CCFOG will proceed with the next recall if those three idiots, Roberts, Samuelson and Haven embarrass us again with such irresponsible action.
It's a shame when a community resorts to celebrating failure in leadership especially someone who has been recalled.
