Spill at Tennessee Coal Plant Creates Environmental Disaster
Parts of Tennessee remain buried under toxic sludge today after a major disaster at a coal plant. Commissioner Samuelson Responds;

Posted: Tuesday, December 23, 2008

Article comment by: Commissioner Samuelson - "Maybe I'm weary from this last storm, but I really need to ask the question of you Mr. Forrester, how is our community going to survive, let alone thrive in any way if you continue to spew such serious allegations, and extreme slander upon elected officials and others in this County. May I remind you, there is yet another storm coming tomorrow, people are hungry, people are unemployed,they are cold, and many of our young people are leaving here if they can find a way out...where are your concerns about that, and ultimately what are you contributing to this community with an editorial such as this? We have tremendous needs for basic things here, worse than I ever remember...and I've been here most of my life."
