LNG Speculators: You Want To Play, You Need To Pay

Due diligence on Calpine, on any LNG project?

The Port Drafts, presents, accepts and allows a 65 year, virtually uncancelable lease for $38,000 a year.

That's it!!!

Based on some vague, BS, inference of tax revenue, construction jobs and maybe, 50 permanent jobs that require highly technical, degreed backgrounds in the field.

And what will this site generate?

One Billion(1,000,000,000) cubic feet of natural gas per day to be shipped out through a pipeline through who knows who's property to Calpine's Commercial customers, only, at an approx. rate of $0.01 per cubic foot($10.12 per Mcf)?

Why, that's the potential of $10,000,000.00 a day revenue generation from that facility alone and not one thought of a residual/tariff to the citizens of much less Warrenton but Clatsop County on the whole?

Just a 1% residual would generate a $100,000.00 a day.

That would be $36,500,000.00 a year if at 7 days a week.

Can you see, now, the magnitude of what is in front of you?

I say to hell with taxes.

Who cares about the jobs.

Just give us the residual if they want to play in our neighborhood bad enough?

The Port says "THEY" did Due Diligence on behalf and for the citizens of Clatsop County?

I say "Horse Scat"!!!!

You can corrrect me if my math doesn't pencil out but, at the moment, it's likely as valid as any LNG Speculator's PR brochures and media ads.
