Criminal investigator probes Lee Attorneys say commissioner’s actions are 'adverse to county’

By JOE GAMM - The Daily Astorian

The Oregon Department of Justice is investigating Commissioner Richard Lee.

Though he would not give any details, Clatsop County Sheriff Tom Bergin confirmed Monday the investigation has been going on for approximately two weeks.

Page McBeth, a criminal investigator in the Criminal Justice Division, is in charge of the investigation.

McBeth has interviewed a number of people inside and outside county government about Lee, Bergin said.

So, if the presumed fabricated article about an Oregon D.O.J. investigation of Richard Lee is indeed true, would that mean Sheriff Tom Bergin and D.O.J. Investigator McBeth would be in collusion with the Daily "A"as well?

Did you miss the part about Josh Marquis calling the AG and asking for an investigation? And the connection between Cindy Price and Jan Mitchel? Also, did you know that the AG will investigate most anything involving a politician if the request comes from the right place. For example, Betsy Johnson has been under investigation for several years because of such a request, but so far remains free. If starting an investigation meant the person was guilty, there would be even more people in jail today. Could we wait for the investigation to provide a finding before we use it to screw Mr. Lee? Or anyone else - even your readers?

Did Marquis Call AG? You ahve documentaion or confirmation?

Jan Mitchell can likely be linked with me even as she is, cindy as well, involved in many, many issues and groups in this community. Wouldn't surprise me at all that there would be some kind of link with the two.

Hell, she (Jan) even serves on a commission with my wife.

Actually your inferences are very enticing and I would actually love to see your documentation on all your musings and I invite you to post them here.
