A grassroots movement (often referenced in the context of a political movement) is one driven by the constituents of a community. GRP does not necessarily condone or support the issues presented here. "We demand that big business give the people a square deal; in return we must insist that when anyone engaged in big business honestly endeavors to do right he shall himself be given a square deal." Is It Time To Unify All Clatsop County Schools?
My Answer?
Yes! Absolutely!

It's called consolidation . I've been thinking about this for years...consolidating the highschools for Astoria, Knappa and Warrenton. Seaside should remain on their own because they serve so much of the southern and eastern part of the county that the distances from Arch Cape or Hamlet to a large campus in the immediate Astoria area would be too much.
Nope, consolidate/unify all schools and pooling the benefit of all resources to those that count, those children that are supposed to be reaping the intended benefit instead of a bunch of bureaucrats involved in political infighting and less than stellar ethics.
