Do Americans today still need labor unions?
by James Sherk
NO: LABOR UNIONS ADD TO COSTS AND DISCOURAGE PRODUCTIVITY
Would you want to work for a company that treats all workers exactly the same, no matter how hard they work?
What about one that promotes only on the basis of seniority and not merit?
Few Americans want a job with an employer who ignores their individual efforts.
Yet that's what labor unions offer employees today.
Small wonder membership is steadily declining.....Click On Link Below For Complete Article

I thought the concept was "No labor unions, no America!" Or, maybe that was "no guns."
Well,in your view have labor unions seen their day in America?
not as long as there's public employee unions, teachers unions, police and fire firefighter unions
Public Employees?
Teachers Union?
Hmmmmmmm, tough call on those two but, do you feel that working for either of these groups is so oppressed that a union would be necessary?
Anyone who works today in the public sector needs a labor union to keep them from being fired due to frivous complaints from an unknowing, naive or just plain stupid, public. It's not so much the day to day management that is the problem, but the public "outcry" when the employee does the right thing under the circumstances, but the media's feeding frenzy and the public's constant need for new blood in the news raises "concerns", that will eventually prove the employee's actions were correct, demands the termination of the employee. You all know this is true, because you all decide what should be done before the facts are in. Just look at this website, and the Daily Astorian.
Sounds like someone must have pissed on your pants leg "Anonym".
How so, or are you just venting some generalized perrsonal vitriole?
