The Soul will be produced in South Korea for the global market. Kia announced in July 2008 that the Soul would begin production late in 2008, with the first vehicles appearing at European dealerships in February 2009 and with tentative plans to begin U.S. delivery in April 2009.
The production Soul will make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2008.

Took a test drive and bought one - yes, it's not cheap to buy, but what a little performer it is with that turbo diesel engin!!
What kind of performance are you getting with that diesel over a gas motor?
Seems everybody in Europe drives diesels these days, soemthing like 70%.
