OMG MCGEE!! THE DAILY ASSHOLIAN ACTUALLY SAID THAT BRADWOOD ISN'T ABOUT IMPORT, IT'S ABOUT EXPORT!!

I'll bet that really throws you into a funk! I mean here you've been bleating away your vaunted high faluting opinion that we dont need no LNG plant and that the market isn't there or some such baloney, like you're some kind'a expert-even when we were telling you you didnt know what your talking about. Now what you got to say for yourself. Oh wait, I forget, your Guru, Forrester, does your thinking for you

Anonymous, So now that it may be for an export terminal...that makes it better? Why not just keep the natural gas within the US? It just means that the Natural Gas companies can't get a high enough price to pay for importing.

The most likely thing is that IF Northernstar gets there thing through, then they will sell the rights to it to someone else and they will build and operate it. Here's the BEST part...they won't be bound by ANY of the agreements of Northernstar. Doesn't that sound wonderful?

Well, no, it isn't, surely they are wrong!

The "Talking Heads" at Bradwood Landing, those Texas Energy Speculators, Northern Star Natural Gas with a Hundred Million Dollars of Investor money says that, exporting LNGafied Natural Gas will never happen because they cannot reverse the mechanics of that system so, it must be true, right?

And of course with a 1.6 billion dollar total investment and a huge profit potential in a sale, they would never think of that possibility either would they?

Yeah, it must be true, BL/NSNG said it.

One thing you antis fail to understand or accept is that no matter who sits on the BOCC, the Bradwood facility will be constructed. All this baloney about Samuelson and Hazen being removed to stop Bradwood is just a red herring to disguise the true motive and reasons. Those are the the twisted sense of vindication and revenge of a dishonest and corrupt District Attorney and his wife. You people have been mislead, played and used by Marquis and his official press outlet, Steve Forester of the Daily Astorian.

So you keeping insisting and now you throw the Clatsop County District Attorney and his wife into the mix?

From Economist.comMeanwhile, America has recently reversed a steady decline in domestic gas production, thanks to new technology that allows firms to tap previously inaccessible gas trapped in coal, shale and some types of sandstone. Gas production in America grew by 4.3% last year, and by 9% in the first quarter of this year. This unexpected spurt will delay America’s emergence as a big importer of LNG by a decade, in Mr Stoppard’s view. And America is not the only country with big reserves of “unconventional” gas. Firms in Australia and Canada are rushing to adopt the same technology. Any country with lots of coal, including China, India, Russia and much of Europe, should be able to increase gas output in the same way. Several firms in Australia even plan to use such gas to make LNG.

The feds and state both will benefit from the LNG facility and accompanying pipelines and other infrastructure to follow once these important shipping heads are established. Anyone who trys to tell you otherwise is lying or ignorant. Yes, this is a case of Marquis hoodwinking and using this red herring to avenge Hazen correctly using his power to halt Marquis stipend when Marquis tried to dishonestly inflate the monetary needs of his department. Read the damn list of "reasons why Hazen should be recalled" regarding the D.A.s office-it's obvious. Perhaps too obvious for you, McGee. Wise up.

Now you know I know what I'm talking about. I was the one who broke it to you months ago what Bradwood was really about. I'm also right about this. Do the right thing, man, do NOT support such a corrupt and dishonest official such as Josh Marquis. He is a master manipulator of people to gain his corrupt agenda. Wake the f@#% up.

An Anonymous prophet.

Good one!

How do we know?

think it through, McGee, and quit paying attention to those who willfully decieve you for there own political gain...any politician who panders to the ecotards how against the new natural gas exporting industry they are and knows it is unstoppable is being dishonest. So is the newspaper editor, he knows that Bradwood will be a great benefit to the region and his business but still he talks out of the other side of his mouth to appease the antis and to aid and abet his friend Marquis is fooling the rubes as to what the true motivation behind this attempted recall is. Marquis is a snake, a liar and a crook. Believe it, yeah.

What the hell does the D.A. have to do with Bradwood?
The fact is that Hazen opposes paying the DA "on principal."
Those are his words.
Find another bogeyman.
If Bradwood is all that inevitable then why the fuss? Fact is Bradwood doesn't have hundreds of millions of dollars.
They are betting on a market for foreign natural gas that no longer exists.

Absolutely nothing. But he is clever enough to get people to believe that if Mr. Hazen is done away with then Bradwood wont become a reality. Of course he is aware that by gaining popular support for recalling Hazen, then his personal agenda of revenge against the sitting commisioners will be accomplished without it being general knowledge that he is behind it as he, and his little cadre of joshbots, know full well. Bradwood is coming and it doesnt matter who is on the commission. If you don't think so, then go read Betsy Ayres' so called reasons to dump Hazen. There are two entries accusing Hazen of somehow affecting the performance of the District Attorney's office when in reality the commission threw back Marquis padded and dishonest budget proposal. Marquis is a crook, a liar and has no business being in public life, let alone public office.

Again, you are misinformed. Bradwood will be the shipping head for the exportation of the gas reserves located in the Columbia Basin. What you people mistakenly refer to as betting by speculators is a sure thing being brought to the market by the good old American petroleum industry.

Elected officials?
I think Marquis got more votes in the last election than Hazen and Samuelson together times 3.
And what the heck does the D.A. have to do with LNG?
Does Anon have anything but the usual mutterings of something that will come out soon and amaze everyone, and then never does?

Gee, John, you might wanna check that thinking again, since Marquis ran unopposed and the entire county votes in the d.a. election-not by individual districts like Ms. Samuelson and Mr. Hazen are representing. Do you know the difference between a county and a district John? Think, John, think real hard

I think we all know the difference and that's the point.

Your cronies with the LNG schemes have been pitching the need for importing LNGafied Natural Gas from every third world, backwater despotic nation in the world because we, in North America, need it so badly to make it affordable in our futures and now, all of a sudden we don't and the desperate among you start talking exporting our own reserves out of these LNG Terminals that the LNG Speculator/Profiteers say could never happen and their honor would not allow them to do under any circumstances.

One thing you and your communist pals don't realize, McGee, is that gas & oil deposits aren't "ours"/"yours", they are the property of the landowners who own the land over the "reserves", and the lease holders/developers. If you don't want "your" minerals/petroluem marketed that is your right to not allow exploration or extraction from your property, but don't be so erroneously entitled to attempt to tell some one what to do with, or where to ship their products

Patrick McGee said...

I don't suppose you're going to say much about your Northern Star-Oregon LNG Profiteer buddies steam rolling any private property owner gets in the way of their proposed pipeline and doesn't want to part with their property huh?

Simple fact of the matter is the window is closing for LNG Siting and Profiteering on the West Coast it would appear, as of late.

Bridging the North/South divide

Clatsop faces immense challenges, but Ann believes when we work together as a county, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish. Ann understands the critical importance of bridging the north/south divide.
It starts with listening.

Ann’s roots as a citizen lobbyist give her important perspective on her current position as county commissioner. As someone who’s worked as a private citizen to make government more accountable, Ann understands that one of the most important parts of her job is to make sure that south county’s voice is heard in Astoria.

That’s why Ann spends so much time meeting with constituents, community leaders and local small business owners. Most Friday mornings, Ann can be found visiting with constituents, having a cup of coffee with small business owners, or meet with community leaders about how best to get our economy back on track and improve Clatsop County’s quality of life.

Our community faces tough challenges, and we deserve a leader who will listen and fight for us. For Clatsop County to get our economy back on track, we’ll need the cooperation and talent of all us working together to deliver good paying jobs for working families.

“A lot of politicians talk a good game, but Ann really listens. She meets regularly with us, follows up, and gets things done. With Ann, we have a true advocate for the interests and needs of south county” – Steve Phillips, Owner, Phillip's Candies -- Seaside, Oregon

Quit trying to associate Bradwood and the three stooges with decent people like Skip and Steve that happen to support them.
Ann hasn't done jack. She shows up late at events and takes credit for work other people have done.
The Sheriff did more to help people in Jewell last winter than Ann did all year.
If the list of names in the Daily A is the best they can do the election on the 27th should be very interesting.
