A grassroots movement (often referenced in the context of a political movement) is one driven by the constituents of a community. GRP does not necessarily condone or support the issues presented here. "We demand that big business give the people a square deal; in return we must insist that when anyone engaged in big business honestly endeavors to do right he shall himself be given a square deal." Theodore Roosevelt November 15, 1913
An obvious problem is that while natural gas may be cleaner than crude oil to create fuel, it is still not a renewable source of energy. So if it is a small step forward it is only that. Must we take baby steps? Are we not grown up enough yet to take slightly larger ones, especially when the potential fate of our society hangs on it?

In my view this is just one step of many in bridging the chasm between now and sustainable and renewable future energy solutions.
