Sportfishing-led group suggests restrictions on Columbia gill-netters

An angler-led coalition thinks it has a solution to the perpetual battle between sportfishermen and commercial gill-netters on the Columbia.
Bump the gill-netters into the river's side channels and bays, SAFE for Salmon suggests, but stock those fishing grounds with more hatchery salmon and steelhead....Click Link Below For Complete Story

not for the reasons you think. sport fishers want more. want gillnetters to have less.
