Actually what is happening in Bend?

I just had a client contact me last week who had relocated to Bend 6-7 years ago and is now back in Washington County starting 35 unit entry level housing development.

Everybody that came for the "Gold Rush" clearing out now?

What was the name of the big land deal the fired City Manager was involved in...Something Butte?

Did that deal go bust or just the housing/building market saturated?
