Congratulations To Robert Mushen For Getting The Nod From Clatsop County Board Of Commissioners

Robert Mushen, one of 6 candidates in consideration for the District-5 seat of ousted Commissioner Ann Samuelson, won unanimous approval from The Clatsop County Board of Commissioners after Kristin Frost Albrecht was denied the seat in an earlier 2-2 vote by The Commission.

Mushen, already being touted by some as Samuelson's handpicked replacement to continue with the existing agenda, may be wise enough to have been a keen observer of what brought on these recalls that have burdened this community by posturing himself in a position of leadership that serves the citizens of Clatsop County in the doing of their "Public Business" as opposed to serving "The Machine" and its agenda itself.

Mushen claims that he will reserve his position on LNG pending the development of further knowledge on the issue.

Hopefully he will learn more than just the PR on the subject from Bradwood Landing's "Talking Heads" as seems to be the depth of it on the majority of that panel.

Maybe, just maybe, he may be the one to push to explore other long-term, sustainable job opportunities that will put hundreds and hundreds of Clatsopians to work before this group commits this community to a lifetime of a bad marriage to what many would call a huge mistake.

where'd you cut and paste that little Pulitzer Prize winner from, McGee?

Bradwood is going to be built. It wont hurt a damn thing and will be an economic asset to Clatsop County--you babble on about "hundreds and hundreds" of jobs, but you can't name one, NOT ONE mind you, industry ready and willing to set up shop here. Besides, we dont want this area to become some big manufacturing center offering lots jobs to outsiders. Bradwood is the way to go so if you dont like it maybe you should go back to where you came from.

This is where I come from "Anonym", you?

Bradwood?

Maybe it will be but then again, there currently is no Western U.S. market for it, so says the industry, and it been setback for 10 years but, you probably already know that don't you?

But, aren't you interested in congratulating Mr. Mushen, an "Outlander" from Seattle, of all places, on his new seat on CCBofC?

Were you at the meeting last night?

This Blog is used for "Sharing Information", first and foremeost, no matter how its presented and there is absolutely no shame in doing so and thank you for the encouragement.

Somebody said NCO/DSM's star "Investigative" reporter was running notes for "Boss Lee" all night.

Could that be true?

All that is on this site is a low grade of drivel. No facts, no appreciable analysis, nothing interesting at all-just drivel.

Well, thank you for visiting us to remind us "Anonym".

You really need to go back and take 7th grade English again, McGee. That one clumsey and long felonious sentence of treacherously mispunctuated Category 5 Drivel is an assault upon the senses of even the most fundamentally challenged reader.

If there is something in that passage you didn't comprehend "Anonym", please point it out and I will gladly and very slowly and carefully attempt to convey exactly what it means for you as, obviously your astute and copious intellect will not allow you to stoop to this level of basic comprehension and common sense needed to reason these primitive sentence stuctures out.

So what you're really saying here is that you have no clue how atrocious that sentence is.tsk tsk tsk

No, I think what I would really like to ask you is...Just what are "Ecotards" that you say support those "To" Oregon leaders, Kroger and Kulongoski, you call morons?

I trust that Muschen will move forward supporting the DD population, mental health, addiction prevention and treatment, the commission on children and families, the health department, CEDR, (to name a few) and economic development opportunities so there is funding to be more than just a pass through for state funding for these critical programs. I will continue to advocate for our rural area which had been ignored for decades, currently our elsie vinemaple fire department has a budget of 50,000. per year and they are often the first responders to many fatal car accidents on hwy 26. The story told of me is not who I am or will ever be, much still needs to be done in this community way beyond what has been encouraged by local media. Dr. Muschen is intelligent, articulate, and has a strong level of commitment.

Maybe he won't be the same as the Commissioner we recalled. That would be why she was recalled.

Gotta ask, why does our new commissioner's primary vehicle still have Washington State plates? He claims he's lived here for 6 years. And he bought a motor home but that had Oregon plates. I'm thinking he's playing loose with tax laws and, I think that its bs that he has no position on LNG. I don't care what it is, but No Position? Excuse me, but that is simply not to be believed or trusted.

His key comment and one that should have raised a red flag right off the top was to the effect...."I was encouraged to run by Ann Samuelson" but, giving him the benefit of the doubt, hopefully, he will learn more on the subject than just what Northern Star Natural Gas tells him he should know as it is clear another one of our "Commissioner Replacements" seems to convey and who, by the way, is up for re-election or replacement himself.
