You people have really been thru the wringer. Congratulations And Patrick, you have done a lot to open folks' eyes to what they were letting slip away. Thanks, i don't live there but i love it and a few good Astorians have passed thru my life. People, you can make it better WITH transparency. Stay involved and watch your back or the greedy ones will take it away and make you think you like it.

Overheard at local bar:

King Richard: Well, the money laundering didn't work nearly as well as it did last time. Jeff, you will be disinvited from the coffee clatches for two months as a penalty.

Jeffy: But you promised I could sit at the grown-up's table if I did all you wanted.
We almost got rid of the DA and by disappearing from everywhere I managed to dodge that recall. Only 44% of the voters wanted me gone. I don't understand what went wrong. I tried to get all the good karma from Raichl

Victim Ann: My family has been threatened and look at all the things I've done. I traveled all over Oregon promoting our cause and got reimbursed for every dime.

King Richard: Give me another three drinks. No-one will dare pull me over and if I get caught I'll just steer the case to Astoria Muni court.

Jeffy: What am I gonna do now? I was real important and now I'm back to being assistant manager at Costco!

Victim Ann: Oh Shut up Jeff, I'M the real victim here. I've been recalled twice and I had all those photos of delivering water that Sheriff Bergin really brougt in while I was staying at my place in Astoria

King Richard: Give me three more drinks.

Pacific Oysters

What is going on with hotel on willapa bay and the 3 million dollar offer because of some hissy fit about grass and oysters and Pacific County.

Is it " we'll sell to nazis if you don't stop poisoning our oysters" Has this wierd tactic worked? Anyone know?

Samuelson's hardly a victim, you must not know her well, or at all.

I think most would agree with you absolutely in that Ann Samuelson is in no way a victim except of her own attempt at times, some would say, to portray herself as one.

Hence the little poke in frog's satire of the situation...you think?
