...COLDER WEATHER AND LOW ELEVATION SNOW POSSIBLE MONDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING...
AFTER THIS WEEKEND BREAK FROM COLD AND SNOW OF LAST WEEK...ANOTHER
COLD SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST BEGINNING
MONDAY. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE DOWN FROM THE NORTH WITH A
SHARP DROP IN TEMPERATURES AND LOWERING SNOW LEVELS. PRECIPITATION
WILL BEGIN AS RAIN ON THE SOUTH WASHINGTON COAST...NORTH OREGON
COAST AND WILLAPA HILLS MONDAY MORNING. SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP
DURING THE AFTERNOON OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA WITH SNOW
SHOWERS AT TIMES AT THE PASS LEVELS IN THE COAST RANGE BY EVENING.
THE FRONT WILL CONTINUE INLAND MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE IN MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY
WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND LOW SNOW LEVELS...POSSIBLY DOWN TO THE
VALLEY FLOOR. AT THIS TIME NO SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED BELOW 500 FEET...WITH A CHANCE OF LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE
500 FEET AND IN ISOLATED HEAVIER SHOWERS.
