Astoria Visual Arts Celebrates 20 Years!

From: "azure10@juno.com"

Please Join The Astoria Visual Arts (AVA) Historic 20th Anniversary Celebration & Auction
Date: Thursday, February 5th from 7 - 10pm.

Our “Keep The Arts Alive” benefit will be held at the Loft in the Red Building #20 Basin St., Astoria.

Entrance by donation.

For the past twenty years, Astoria Visual Arts Center (AVA) has facilitated important public art projects, supported emerging regional artists, offered a wide-ranging series of lectures, thematic art shows and experimental music on the North Coast, and mentored children and local high school artists.

We honor all of you who recognize the value of a flourishing arts community here which drives our economy and provides the color and enrichment locals and visitors enjoy.

There will be refreshments, champagne and music by The Hayes Trio (Bill Hayes on guitar, Dave Ambrose on bass and Tom Sarpola on drums) along with an auction of marvelous treats to ensure that AVA continues to be the inclusive and pioneering non-profit organization it is.

Local businesses and artists have donated items and/or experiences to be auctioned at this event.

Valentine’s day is just around the corner and this would be a great opportunity to purchase something for your loved ones.Thank you for keeping the arts alive and well here at home by participating in AVA’s “Keep The Arts Alive”.
