The local Democratic Party's agenda, in my observation, is to unseat what is called in the community, "The G.O.B. Network", "The Silent Majority", "The Leadership Round Table" or whatever name one wants to give to it and again, in my observation, they have a crap load of money available to do so these days, moreso than ever and wherever possible in non-partisan seats of government.
It's not about a "One Trick Pony" issue in the least but a planned strategy, in my view.
I find it humorous that Oregon prides itself in being so progressive and all "Blue" but almost every little "Berg" and "Bachwater" and "Small Town" is likely and historically controlled by "The Reds" and has been for years.
